Salewa's Raven Combi GTX took us by surprise in its first year by becoming our bestselling mountaineering boot of the season. The generous but technical fit accommodates most feet, and the 3D lacing system creates three separate tension zones for a custom fit and precision footing. The Raven Combi GTX also features a "Y" steel wire that has been pretensioned around your heel and instep, allowing for a snug heel fit that won't pinch your achilles. One employee bought them and broke them in on a 3 day, 36 mile climb in the Olympics with no problem. The Raven Combi GTX has quickly won us all over.

FIT TIPS:

• Ideal for medium (D) width feet, but can accommodate slightly wider and slightly narrower feet because of its unique lacing system.
• Fits true to size, do not over or under size.
