Mountain Shop staffer and Ultralight Backpacking Guru Gary Lawton will be retiring at the end of March and heading out on a long list of adventures!
Join him one last time to ask all your ultra light backpacking and thru hiking questions about gear, trip planning, some of his favorite adventures, and tips and tricks that he has amassed over his many years as a triple-crown hiker (PCT/AT/CDT) and ultralight backpacker completing numerous high alpine hikes across the US, including the Colorado Trail, Tahoe Rim Trail, Wind River Range and more! Feel free to bring your backpack and gear for Gary to look at if you are curious about shaving weight or need suggestions.
This event will be held in-person at the Mountain Shop and no ticket purchase is necessary. We will see you there! Masks will be optional for this event and are not required to be worn.
