Boot-fitting Appointment Guidelines
At Mountain Shop we offer extensive, professional boot modification and fitting services! Our expert boot fitters can create a totally customized fit from shell to liner and everything in between, as well as boot repairs and part replacements! We specialize in alpine, touring and telemark boots, and we are able to do minor modifications on most snowboard boots.
Boot service labor charges start at $80/hour with a 1 hour minimum. Appointments are recommended for most services. Depending on the extent of the labor or modifications that need to be done, equipment will often need to be left with us for a duration determined by your boot fitter.
NEW BOOT FITTING
If you’re shopping for a new pair of ski boots this season, the best place to start is with a New Boot Fitting appointment. The fitting is complementary with no obligation to buy boots at the time of your appointment. You’ll get a full hour with one of our boot fitting pros where we’ll perform fit assessments and take measurements to determine the right boot profile for your anatomy. Then we’ll get you into some boots to try out different fit styles. Appointments are strongly recommended. While we do what we can to accommodate walk-ins whenever possible, we cannot guarantee availability at any time (especially during our busy winter season.)
Included with every boot fit is 2 free follow-up boot modification appointments (additional parts not included).
BOOT MODIFICATION
If you’ve already got your own boots and just need some tweaks for a better fit – bring ‘em on in! From boot punches, to grinds, to heel inserts – we offer many different types of services to customize the fit of your boots. Boot modification services start at $80/hour with a 1 hour minimum, and does not include additional parts or pieces.
Appointments are strongly recommended. While we do what we can to accommodate walk-ins whenever possible, we cannot guarantee availability at any time (especially during our busy winter season.)
OTHER BOOT SERVICES
Buckle replacement, rivet replacement, liner molding, BOA replacement, custom footbeds, walk-mode repair, & more.

WALK-INS
While appointments are not required for any of our boot services, we can’t guarantee that we will be able to accommodate walk-ins (especially in the busy winter season!) It’s best to call ahead when possible.
CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOW POLICY
Payment for the first hour is charged at the time of making an appointment. Cancellations ahead of the appointment time will be refunded 100% of their payment. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS FOR NO SHOWS.
