Have you ever wanted to climb one of the PNW Volcanoes? What about the most active volcano in the contiguous United States? Loowit or Mount Saint Helens is a great introductory volcano for a mountaineer looking to learn or refresh on some critical skills needed to climb volcanoes.
Join us with Michael Hortsch, a member of Portland Mountain Rescue, who will be reviewing the basics of climbing Mount Saint Helens, the gear you might need, the skills you should learn and practice, and what it takes to get to the top of this National Volcanic Monument!
Registration fee is $3 to fund events like this and continue to do educational programming!
