Portland Mountain Rescue would like to invite you to an evening of Cascade Volcano safety hosted by Mountain Shop. We'll be exploring the features, hazards, and all things safety surrounding the climbing of our nearest peaks. Mount St. Helens, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Hood are perfect weekend adventures and are often times brushed off as easy climbs. Spend this evening exploring the characteristics of Mt. Hood and the specific hazards that have led to Search and Rescue Missions in the past. Equip yourself with essential knowledge of how to safely enjoy these beautiful Cascade Volcanoes!
