Review

One of the few tech fabrics that doesn’t stink after multiple days of use (my wife might say otherwise).  I’ve worn this on multiple backpacking trips including  a 7 day hike in the Sawtooths, and 1) did not get a sunburn despite long days of alpine exposure, 2) was able to stand the smell of myself day after day, and 3) stayed cool, dry, and comfortable.  Ski touring, this has been a great sole layer on warm spring days, and an excellent layer on cooler tours.  The material is thin enough that the hood fits comfortably under a hat or helmet.  It’s only rated to UPF 15, but for my uses, I can’t see a need for more sun protection.

Who it’s for

Anyone who spends time playing out in the sun: backpackers, skiers, runners, climbers, mountaineers, anglers.
