If you have heard about backcountry skiing, but aren’t sure how to go about doing it, join us for this limited capacity in-person presentation from veteran local guide John Barkhausen (virtual option via zoom is also available). John will give you an overview of some of the most important things you’ll need to know when getting out into the backcountry. He will cover gear, education, weather, and other considerations that will help you take important steps to getting yourself out there! John is a great presenter and has a ton of experience to share.
COVID Policy for In-Person Events: There will be a 25-person limit, vaccination cards and accompanying ID are required to be shown before entry is allowed, and face coverings are required to be worn throughout the entirety of the event.
