Portland Mountain Rescue would like to invite you to an evening of Cascade Volcano safety hosted by Mountain Shop. Join us from 6-7:30pm as we explore the characteristics of climbing Loowit (Mount St. Helens)! This climb is a perfect weekend adventure and is often brushed off as an easy climb, but that is certainly not the case. Learn about the specific hazards that have led to rescue missions in the past, and equip yourself with essential knowledge of how to safely enjoy this beautiful Cascade Volcano!
