The Backland has a pronounced rocker with camber underfoot for flotation in powder, smooth turn initiation, and reliable edge engagement on firmer snow. HRZN 3D Backland technology in the tip and tail increases surface area for improved flotation and helps the ski stay maneuverable in variable snow. With a 102mm waist, the Backland 102 is built for long tours where low weight on the ascent needs to translate into confident performance on the descent.
