SMC CRx Pulley
Description
The CRx is an ultralight pulley designed for alpine climbers and mountaineers, featuring a stainless-steel axle and a lightweight nylon sheave for an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. The compact size conceals its impressive strength and efficiency, outperforming other pulleys in its class. The prusik-minding side plates allow for use in a 3:1 Z-haul system, while the 1.25″ nylon sheave runs smoothly on a stainless steel rivet axle. With color-contrasting aluminum side plates that rotate for easy rope insertion and removal, the CRx is a highly functional, easy-to-carry tool for mountain use. However, it is not designed for ziplines, cables, or high-speed applications.
