Our trade-in ski program used to be an option the Mountain Shop offered to families. Families could buy retail skis and boots and the shop would buy them back at the end of the year. We have replaced this with the kids lease program, but we would like to honor our commitments to customers who have been told we will buy their gear back. Here are the rules for accepting trade in skis or boots.
The equipment must have been purchased in the past three years at the Mountain Shop, and this transaction in our system. If we cannot find the transaction, we will not accept the equipment.
The equipment must be in good condition. That means ski bindings must be indemnified, the skis are not damaged, and the boots are not damaged.
If the equipment meets these criteria, customers will be given store credit. The credit is $35 for boots and $50 for skis.
